Eric Wenz

Hey everyone! I am Eric Wenz from the Rancocas Valley Delegation, and will be chairing Security Council B this year! I am a senior and have done Model United Nations every year in high school. In fact, I have been on Security Council all three! I attended the Conference on National Affairs last July, and had the time of my life. If you get nominated, please go! You will not regret it. You meet so many people around the country and learn about so many different topics.

Outside of Model United Nations, I enjoy spending time with friends, weight lifting, and sports. I am a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan and own every piece of memorabilia I can get my hands on. It has been hard getting oh so close to the Super Bowl year after year, but I love the team so much. I even own a share of them!

In school, I am an officer of many clubs. I am the President of the Math Honor Society, a community service chair of the National Honor Society, co-leader of the History Club, anchor for the school news, and so much more. I love my school and classmates through and through. I work at Wawa and love their mozzarella sticks. I am also a ginormous history fanatic and spend countless hours down Wikipedia rabbit holes. Finally, I write a weekly report on the events in my fantasy baseball and football leagues. I certainly keep myself busy.

Finally, a little piece of advice for you all is to work with as many people as possible. Networking is a huge tool in the post-school world. You never know who you will encounter again. You could discover a new friend or business partner, or just have a really fun weekend with someone. When you see a resolution written that you can contribute to, jump in! Propose amendments, stand next to fellow authors and make your voice heard! This is a massive and fun opportunity, and enjoy it!
