International Security & Crime

Hi all! I’m Nathan Cho and I’m going to be your International Security and Crime Chair! I’m from the Western Family Y delegation from Delaware, and I’m a senior in high school. As a fourth year delegate, Y-MUN has been a huge part of my life, and I look forward to making my last year the best one yet!

My best advice is to try and think a little differently. When I first started MUN, I had a lot of trouble having confidence in myself and my voice. But, I tried approaching my topics for resolutions a little differently. With that I came up with an idea that I was incredibly proud of. When you think a little harder and differently, you often can create ideas that you are truly passionate and proud of. This pride in your idea often bleeds into confidence throughout your own composure. It made me hold my chest a little higher and be confident in my own voice while I presented. THat bled throughout the committee and I became a better speaker throughout the session. Finding one thing to be proud and passionate about makes you a better speaker in general and does wonders for your own confidence throughout the conference.

I can’t wait to meet all of you and hear all your amazing ideas!
