Hi! My name is Ruhi Kulkarni, and I am a junior from Monroe Township high School. I am so excited to be chair for the Historical Security Council this year, and get to know all of you further! MUN has by far been one of my favorite extracurriculars ever, and I hope that you are able to enjoy this MUN experience and make plenty of new friends.
A little bit more about me:
First off, I love travelling. My favorite place I’ve been is either Bangkok or Amsterdam, I highly recommend these places for the culture and food. A fun fact about me is that Shaquill O’Neal took a selfie with me on his shoulders when I was a baby!
If I had to give one piece of advice to my munsters, it would be, be persistent! Whether that be in talking to new people, speaking up in committee sessions, or introducing new resolution ideas, keep trying! Even if you don’t get it right the first or second time, no one is judging you. So keep going to enable yourself to get the full Model UN experience.
